NOCN Level 2 Certificate for Security Practitioners

Course Objectives

The aim of the Security Practitioner qualification is to provide a learning programme and full level 2 vocational qualification of a number of guided learning hours for security officers, who would be recognised as valued and competent employees. The Security Practitioner qualification encourages flexible learning methods of learning, gaining experience and assessing achievement. It builds on the best aspects of the NVQ system, whilst providing an equally robust but flexible method of assessment. The qualification, which is designed to take a number of months to complete, encourages the provision of a sound foundation of knowledge, skills and experience that will help an individual to plan and follow a rewarding career in the security sector.
