D.A.T.S (Defence against Terrorism)

In an era where there is a real and substantial threat through terrorism, it is essential that all front line security staff have at least some knowledge of what they may encounter in their line of work. Whilst the threat is often classified as 'Severe' and Government Organisations talk in terms of 'When' or 'How Often' we really must be better prepared. This is particularly true in major Cities such as London and those working in high profile organisations such as Government, Military, Logistical, Economic or Political.

In facing and defeating terrorism, we must use all our resources to ensure that we do not become a soft target. The Private Security Industry is a key and essential part of our defence.

If we are better informed about terrorists and terrorism and understand how they normally operate, we will be in a much better position to identify threats. The Private Security Industry is often the front line defence for our utilities, buildings and public space and their knowledge, awareness and vigilance is essential to our fight 'Against Terror'
