Paediatric First Aid Twelve Hour Course
Course Objectives
This course is in line with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and meets the needs of Ofsted. It is suitable for child minders, Nursery and School staff (dealing with Foundation Stage) and anybody who deals with children and wants a more in- depth course.

- Casualty Examination
- Unconsciousness
- Anaphylaxis

- Control of Bleeding and Shock
- Asthma
- Eye and Ear Injuries
- Burns and Scalds
- First Aid Kits
- Childhood Illnesses including Meningitis and Febrile Convulsions
- Regulations
- Recording and Reporting
How do you achieve the qualification
Certification is dependant on successful continuous assessment of the student, there is no final examination. Those delegates who complete the course, are deemed to have reached the required standard, are awarded a certificate that is valid for three years
