Our Business is...
ALL OUR COURSES FINISH WITH A ‘FRENCH CONNECTION’
Demand for the SIA licensed UK Close Protection Course is growing, fortunately this doesn’t include our prices and extra international features are now included ‘free of charge’. Add the fact that our basic training is carried out in the West End of London, conducted by truly internationally respected instructors, we believe that RST is the company for you. The level 3 qualifications accredited by Edexcel remains the same; however this can be divided between London & the South of France as follows.
LONDON
The 14-day course will be based at our Executive Training Centre in Central London. You will be trained against a backdrop of some of the worlds most recognized locations such as The American Embassy, Grosvenor Square and The Trocedero.
As well as the standard BTEC Level 3 CP training, students will complete additional training modules in Close Protection Driving, CP Surveillance and Close Quarter Combat.
FRANCE
The final exercise will feature a trip to the L’Ancienne Gendarmerie in Lectoure, the South of France. Students will fly to France on the last weekend, learning all the skills required to escort the Principal safely whilst traveling abroad. Exercises will be conducted in the local town and at a number of attractions including a local Cathedral and Spa.
We are also running Advanced Professional Close Protection training courses for students that would like to take their training to the next level, which consists of a 5 day training course in France. The Advanced Professional Close Protection course will include Firearms instruction, Defensive Driving, Close Quarter Combat, weapons disarming and Control/Restraint training.
The course can be taken in two separate modules of 7 days each and individuals who do not wish to travel to France can be excused under the discretion of our senior trainer.
All Courses
All courses are mapped against BTEC Level 3 Award in Close Protection Operations, with both practical and theoretical elements of planning, briefing and execution.
Close Protection demands an understanding of the importance of Risk assessments, route or event planning and contingency preparation. Our trainers (from varied operational and military backgrounds) offer discretion, knowledge and considerable operational expertise.
