Conflict Resolution

Course Objective

To enable all staff and 'front line' workers to deal more effectively with conflict. The course assists students to identify conflict situations and teaches them the skills required to avoid or defuse difficult situations. They will learn the cause and effect of 'anger' and how by avoiding negative 'emotional triggers' they will be able to avoid escalating conflict and remain in control. The course covers conflict 'risk assessments' and the danger signs that are displayed when a situation gets out of control. The course is suitable for all staff who deal with the general public.
